One of the changes enacted by the Inflation Reduction Act greatly impacts the economics of solar installations for non-profit organizations. Prior to the bills enactment, this sector of the economy could not benefit from incentives available to tax paying individuals and businesses. As a result of this bill, organizations like churches, schools and municipals can now take advantage of all the incentives, making solar installations a good investment. In order to be eligible for this program, projects must be started by July 4, 2026. One of our most recent installations was at Grace Evangelical Lutheran Church, in the Village of Bethlehem, WV, which is shown above.
